The Moroccan Caravan Has Arrived!

Via a circuitous route, our container of new goodies has arrived at last.

And apart from the hard work involved in unloading everything, it was a real buzz to see all the beautiful things that we selected when we were in Morocco in February.

We have a fabulous range of Moroccan lanterns, from small table lanterns to very large ones (90cm). Some are all metal while others are a mixture of glass and metal. The glass ones come in a range of colours including rose, yellow, blue, green and clear. We have a few magnificent very large traditional–style brass lanterns as well. Many of the lanterns are suitable for candles, or alternatively you will be able to have a light fitted.

We also have a number of Moroccan wall sconces which are easily fitted to most walls and provide a lovely patterned light, particularly if they are in an outside area.

As many of you requested, we have brought in a range of different sizes of Moroccan mosaic tables. We have small low round tables (50cm in diameter); multicoloured 80cm square tables which sold out so fast from our last shipment; the regular sizes of 80, 100 and 120cm round tables; and new sizes of 150cm round and rectangular ones that will seat 6 and 8 people (120 x 90cm and 180 x 90cm). We also have some great new colours and patterns to choose from.

In our last shipment, the round wrought iron mirrors or sun mirrors proved very popular and sold out quickly and we now have them available again. We also have a new style of mirror available which is smaller (70 x 50cm) than our previous stock. And we have more decorative wrought iron screens which look great in gardens or inside.

We have some new items this shipment – handpainted wooden tables in various colours and a range of different coloured mini-tagines which can be used for spices, condiments, butter or simply for decoration. They make such an unusual gift.

As many of you will already know, our prices are seriously competitive. We also provide free delivery around Melbourne for heavy, large items.

We know our new stock will move quickly, so if you are interested and to avoid disappointment, come in quick. We are open Saturdays 10 to 5.30pm or if this doesn’t suit, we are happy to make other times by appointment.
